"In the Margins of Invisibility" is a project that explores immigration and ancestry. The work examines how geographical and geophysical boundaries and ancestral ties influence identity formation and cultural heritage.

Immigrants are citizens of the world, shaped beyond bloodlines, feeling a sense of belonging everywhere and nowhere. A migrant family tree is unconventional, transforming as it encounters foreign cultures, creating hybrid forms of the self. The work explores diasporic narratives, questioning what it means to exist in the margins of invisibility and navigate the complexities of living in one's country of origin while simultaneously experiencing displacement. This project reflects on the generational experiences inescapable for descendants who face hybridization, encounter the complexities of assimilation, and adopt a new mother tongue as a form of survival.
